The BrainTrain professional training workshops are produced by BrainTrain, Inc., for the purpose of educating clinicians in the use of it's professional training and testing software. BrainTrain is the developer and distributor of the products that are reviewed and demonstrated in the workshops - the Captain's Log Cognitive Training System, SmartMind , SoundSmart, SmartDriver, the IVA+Plus and the IVA-AE. The workshop presenter is Dr. Joseph Sandford, the author of all of BrainTrain's software and President of BrainTrain, Inc. Thus, BrainTrain wishes to disclose that the potential for bias exists both in the workshop presentations and in the selection of the texts and research presented.
